KEEP LOCKD RUNNING ON SAMSUNG AND XIOMI

Some Android phones automatically stop background apps to save battery. This one-time setup prevents your phone from disabling Lockd's blocking.

Why does this happen? Samsung and Xiaomi use aggressive battery optimisation that kills background services, including the one Lockd uses to block apps. This is an OS-level restriction outside our control, but a simple one-time setting change fixes it permanently.

SAMSUNG

Step 1: Battery optimisation Settings → Apps → Lockd → Battery → Unrestricted

Step 2: Put unused apps to sleep Settings → Battery & device care → Battery → Background usage limits → Put unused apps to sleep OFF

*Samsung may re-enable this after a firmware update. Repeat if Lockd stops working.

Step 3: Adaptive battery Settings → Battery & device care → Battery → More battery settings → Adaptive battery → OFF

Version differences, find your Android:
