Having issues with App Picker?
Unfortunately, some limitations are due to the way Apple's App Picker is designed. We're actively working on improvements with Apple. In the meantime, try:
- Open one app category at a time
- Paste app names into the search bar
- Close categories after selecting apps
- Avoid clicking "Other"
- Force quit Lockd and restart your phone

Android Set Up And FAQs
This guide can help you set up your Lockd Pod for Android.
App not responding to the Lockd Pod?
Please check whether a “Ready to Scan” message appears when you tap the center button in the Lockd app.
If it doesn’t show up, the app may not be syncing properly with your Lockd Pod. Try the steps below, testing the center button after each one:
- Force-quit the Lockd app and open it again
- Restart your phone
- Update the Lockd app to the latest version
If the popup still doesn’t appear, restart your device once more and try scanning again.
What part of my phone should I tap the Lockd Pod to?
Every Android model places the NFC reader in a slightly different spot. Here's where it's usually located:
•Samsung Galaxy (S / Note / Z series): top-center on the back, near the cameras
•Google Pixel: top-back area
•OnePlus: center-back, slightly above the fingerprint
•Sony Xperia: middle-back
If scanning is tricky, Google "‹your phone model> NFC location" — it will show you the exact location of your device's NFC reader.
