We’re excited you’re here. Lockd was built to help you take back control from digital distractions — and getting started is simple. Below is everything you need to set up and start using your Lockd Pod.

A Few Things to Know First:

Safari: You can block Safari like any other app. If you want to block specific websites, Apple only allows a pre-selected list.

App Picker Limitations: Apple’s app picker can be tricky — sometimes it crashes or limits your selection to 50 apps.

Apps Not Blocking Correctly? Disable Apple or other Screen Time apps that might interfere. Also, remove apps from your Always Allowed list in Screen Time settings.

Setup Guide

1. Download the LOCKD App

2. Enable Screen Time Access
This is required to block apps. Tap “Continue” when prompted. If you hit “Don’t Allow” by accident, tap the center Lockd button again to bring the prompt back.

3. Create Your First Mode
Tap Create Mode tab:
 - Give your mode a name
 - Select the apps you want to block
 - Set it as your default mode
 

4. Activate Your Lockd Pod
Tap the center Lockd button → “Ready to Scan” will appear
Then tap your phone to your Lockd Pod.

5. You’re Locked In
Your distractions are now blocked. Keep your Pod out of reach, and focus on what matters.
